How to make delicious hand poured coffee without the fancy kettle, bamboo paddle, glass dripper and digital scale.

Serves 1-2

  1. Fold and place paper filter into dripper. Place on top of server/jar.
  2. Bring at least 32 oz of water to boil. Once water reachers a boil, fill measuring cup (16 oz) and use it to rinse the filter while preheating your server. Don't forget to dump rinse water before adding coffee.
  3. Measure 1/4 cup of fresh, whole bean coffee. Grind your coffee on a medium setting and pour into filter.
  4. Pour 16 oz of boiled water into measuring cup.
  5. Pour just enough water from measuring cup to saturate grounds, and stir vigorously with spoon to incorporate all the coffee and water.
  6. After thorougly mixed, pour the remaining water onto the center of the coffee, and let drain completely. Brewing should finish in 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
